Nasisiyahan din ako na ipagbubunyi ninyo ang ika-100 anibersaryo ng Rebolusyong Oktubre sa balangkas ng pandaigdigang pagdiriwang sa inisyatiba ng International League of Peoples´ Struggle. May kaugnayan ito sa Lakbayan ng Visayas 2017 sapagkat pinatutunayan ng Rebolusyong Oktubre na ang panlipunang pagpapalaya ay nakakamit batay sa alyansa ng manggagawa at magsasaka. Nahawan ang daan para sa tagumpay ng rebolusyon sa pamamagitan ng mga kilos protesta ng masa laban sa kagutuman at panunupil ng estado.

Kapuri-puri ang mayamang karanasan at mga tagumpay ninyo sa pakikibaka upang ipagtanggol ang mga demokratikong karapatan ng mga manggagawa, itaguyod ang tunay, militante, at anti-imperyalistang unyonismo, at upang kamtin ang tunay na kalayaan, kasarinlan ng bansa at ganap na demokrasya.

Karapat-dapat lamang na makapangalap kayo ng mas marami pang kasapi mula sa hanay ng mga migranteng kababaihan. Patingkarin ang talino at mapanlabang diwa ng kababaihang bayani katulad nina Gabriela Silang, Teresa Magbanua, Lorena Barros at Maita Gomez na ang mga pangalan ay nakaguhit na sa kasaysayan ng ating Inangbayan.

The great Lenin extended and developed the theory and practice of Marxism to that of Marxism-Leninism in the era of modern imperialism and proletarian revolution. He led the Bolsheviks and the people in turning the inter-imperialist World War I into a revolutionary civil war, thus overthrowing Tsarism through the February 1917 revolution and subsequently the bourgeois Kerensky government in the Great October Socialist Revolution. All power passed on to the soviets of workers, peasants and soldiers, which led to the establishment of the Soviet Union on one-sixth of the surface of the earth.

In view of the persistent and worsening crisis of the world capitalist system and the need to unite and strengthen the working class movement for socialism against imperialism, the theme of the celebration is highly significant and timely : Celebrate the lessons of the Great October Socialist Revolution! Onward with the struggle of the working class to defeat imperialism and build a socialist world!

As always, we are proud of your outstanding record as member-organization of the ILPS and as a key component of the ILPS chapter in Hongkong & Macau. You have contributed significantly to the international assemblies and other major events of the ILPS and have promoted the anti-imperialist and democratic united front and militant struggles of the peoples of the world.

Angkop na buksan ninyo ang selebrasyon sa pamamagitan ng mobilisasyon sa harap ng US embassy sa Setyembre 11, at sa gabi nito naman may mga kultural na pagtatanghal kasama ang mga pambansang minorya sa Lakbayan 2017. At magtipon ang mga alumni para magbahaginan ng mga karanasan at aral. Mahalagang sa Setyembre 12 ilulunsad ninyo ang mga propaganda workshop at usapin tungkol sa K-12 program at ang pagsasanay sa pagsusulat, pagtalumpati at propagandang biswal.
