November 19, 2004
As overseas Filipinos in Canada, we are very concerned about the outcome
of the case of Professor Jose Maria Sison -- a Filipino revolutionary
and patriot -- against the Council of the European Union held at the Luxembourg
Court of Justice (First Instance) last November 17, 2004. This case has
critical bearing for the progressive movement in the Philippines and to
us as overseas Filipinos. more...

Trial in New York City on August 25, 2004
Distinguished colleagues and friends:

VS
brandmerken Filippijnse revolutie opnieuw als "terroristisch"
Mag Sison zelfs geen
boek meer schrijven?
Bert De Belder

Immediately
remove Professor Jose Maria Sison from the witch hunt “terrorist” lists!
Press statement
from Canada
August 12, 2004
We, concerned human rights activists, lawyers, community organizers
and members of organizations working in solidarity with Third World peoples,
condemn the unabated attacks of U.S. imperialism against the human rights
and civil liberties of Professor Jose Maria Sison. We condemn these attacks
not only because they infringe on his rights as an individual, but also
because we find them all the more reprehensible as they are only one part
of U.S. imperialism’s offensive against the genuine right of oppressed
peoples to struggle for national and social liberation. more...
